Science With Shannon

On thursday the 2nd of August 2018, shannon (keirans mum)came and taught
us about pH (acid & alkali) so we all individually wrote her a note and this is mine.

Dear shannon,

Thank you for coming into room 22 to teach us about pH (alkali and acid),
all the different colors and how to tell wich is wich.

I especially enjoyed experimenting with the different liquids and
watching the juice change color. One thing that I learnt was that the
color of hydrangeas are different colors dew to the chemicals in the soil.
A challenge for me was tasting the elements and seeing what was a alkali
and what was acid.

Over all we are all looking forward to seeing you in class next week.
